Review: Conversion by Katherine Howe

conversion-cover-novelWhen I first read the synopsis of Katherine Howe’s Conversion, it caught the attention of my curiosity. I’m a fan of fantasy books. After the Harry Potter craze, I’m very open to reading about witches and witchcraft. As a Halloween lover, I even have a fascination with the Salem Witches Trials, having done my own research or watched documentaries about them. I was pretty excited to read this book at first, but I’m going to have to be honest, I stopped reading after the one hundredth page. Continue reading

Book Haul: Building My Library: Spring Reads


Building My Library is my personal weekly book haul meme. I share the books that I’m adding to my reading collection. This will include: books I buy from the store or online, borrow from friends or the public library,  advanced reading copies (books for review), gifts, audio books, and ebooks.

Spring is here! Or, so says my calendar. Do you know what that means? Time for some Spring/Summer reads! The buzz has already started for some titles, and so far, I’ve managed to get my hands on a few of them from publishers and bought some books that I’ve just been dying to read too.
